David Llewellyn Appointed as New Chair of the AVA Board

The Automatic Vending Association (AVA) is pleased to announce that David Llewellyn has been appointed the new Chair of the AVA Board.

David, who takes over from David Ward, has worked in vending since 1994 covering many areas of the industry including operating, sales, logistics, production, along with technical and equipment sourcing.  David is Sales Director, Europe for Seaga and has been with the company since 2010. He has also been on the AVA Board since 2014.
David Llewellyn commented:

“I’m honoured to take up the position of Chair of the AVA at an exciting period for the Association as we look to attract more members, at the same time as providing greater support for our current members. I look forward to working with Jonathan Hart and the Board to make the AVA the best it can possibly be.”

In addition to David, the AVA is also announcing the appointment to the Board of Jane MacDonald. Jane, who set up Excel Vending in 1993, brings a wealth of experience having worked in the vending industry for nearly 25 years.

Jane MacDonald said:

“I am delighted to be joining the AVA Board. I’m looking forward to helping shape the future direction of the AVA as it plays an important role in improving the industry.”

Jonathan Hart, Chief Executive of the AVA, stated:

“First of all I want to thank Dave Ward for his fantastic support in his work as Chair of the AVA Board over the last few years. Dave helped me settle in to my role and provided me with tremendous guidance and advice from Day One and I will always be grateful to him for that.

“Now the AVA welcomes a new Chair and it is wonderful to have David Llewellyn take on the role. David has already demonstrated his commitment to the AVA through being on the Board and I look forward to working closely with him. I am also very pleased to welcome Jane MacDonald on to the Board. I am sure her enthusiasm and experience will be very beneficial to the AVA and all of its members.”
